The Team

Colin Davidson, Founder and CEO

Colin's passions are computer vision and computer graphics. He holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford in computer vision and robotics, and he has an Academy Award (Technical Oscar) from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. He has worked at Microsoft Research and Industrial Light & Magic, publishing patents at both. On the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest he took 3D photographs of Johnny Depp, who commented that it was the strangest thing he had ever done.

Intellectual Property

Our Piku-Piku processing and viewing technology is patent pending. We are planning more patent applications in the near future as we roll out exciting and innovative new features and products. Start 3D and Piku-Piku are trademarks of Start 3D Limited.
